Is CT Casino Bill In Trouble?

A bill that would allow a tribal  casino in East Windsor that was recently passed by the Senate is in  trouble in the House.

House Majority Leader Matt Ritter says the bill  as written would not have enough votes for passage in the House.

The  measure would allow the tribal operators of Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun to  open a gaming facility in East Windsor.

The goal is to stop gambling  revenue from flowing to Massachusetts, where an MGM Resorts casino is  under construction in Springfield.
