Rachelle Bond was supposed to be set free this week after serving almost two years in connection with the death of her daughter.
However, the mother of murdered toddler Bella Bond will remain in jail until a drug treatment facility has room for her.
Bond does not want to be released into the streets, as her goal is to remain clean and sober.
Her former boyfriend Michael McCarthy was convicted of second degree murder this week for the killing of the child.
