A new model is predicting that the number of deaths from coronavirus in Massachusetts will rise over eight thousand this month.
The model forecast was created by a lab at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.
The current number of deaths in the state from the virus is currently just over seven thousand.
A University of Washington model predicts that Massachusetts will have over nine thousand coronavirus deaths by August.
