Cape Cod Man Accused Of Sending "Vile" Email To Philly Chief

A Cape Cod man is being accused of sending racist, threatening emails to the police commissioner of Philadelphia.

The U.S. Justice Department announced the charge of transmitting threatening communications in interstate commerce against Peter Fratus of West Dennis on Tuesday.

Fratus allegedly sent the emails to the police department email address of Commissioner Danielle Outlaw on June 6th and asked where she lives in one of them.

That was the same day that the city was the site of a large racial justice protest.

The Chief has not commented.
