Next Step Senate For Holyoke Soldiers Home Bond Bill

The four-hundred-million bond bill that has been proposed to finance a new Holyoke Soldiers' Home has been passed by the Massachusetts House of Representatives.

The bond bill moves on to the state Senate in the next couple of weeks where it is also expected to pass.

Western Massachusetts lawmakers say last year's deadly COVID-19 outbreak exposed the need for the veterans' home to be modernized.
