The Easthampton School Committee has named four applicants for Interim School Superintendent.
This will be the third try for the school committee to fill what is now an interim post.
The first person offered the job had the offer pulled over a perceived microaggression.
Then a second candidate dropped out of the search over a controversial social media post.
Now four finalists for the interim post have been named, including two candidates formerlly from the Worcester School system.
The four are:
Maureen Benienda, the former Worcester School Superintendent;
Mary Jane Ricks, the former Worcester Schools Dean of Students;
Roland Joyal, the former assistant Superintendent in Chicopee;
And, Marlene Dileo, most recently the Ware School Superintendent.
Interviews will be conducted over two nights and a finalist picked on June 12.
