Amherst Calls For Resident Input On New School Boss

Residents of Amherst and surrounding communities are being asked for their opinions, regarding the search for a new superintendent of schools.

The Amherst-Pelham Regional and Union 26 school committee are working with an executive search firm to find a successor to former superintendent Michael Morris, who left in August.

A series of six community input sessions will be held to hear from residents of Amherst, Pelham, Shutesbury, and Leverett, the first of which will be this evening. Information on this and upcoming sessions are available at arps dot org.
